Dr. Brigadier R K Sharma

He is a member of ISAR, IFS, and ESI. Dr. R K Sharma was instrumental in setting up Assisted Reproduction Technology Centre at Command Hospital, AFMC Pune. He also help set up ART Centre at Army Hospital, Delhi. He is an examiner for various examinations like the UPSC board, post-doctoral fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, etc. The doctor shows empathy towards his patients. He gives personal attention to his patients and spends time to understand their case history. Dr. Sharma currently consults at Maa Fertility Clinic, Janakpuri. He is available for consultation between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday.

Dr. R K Sharma has thirty nine years experience in the field of medicine. He has been working as a specialist for the last thirty one years. He is also the professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at AFMC, Pune. He performed his first IVF procedure in 1994. The field of IVF was new and present-day technological advancement was not available. The patients were a couple suffering from infertility for ten years. His very first procedure was successful and the couple was blessed with a child. The gratitude of the patients prompted him pursue the path of ART. The Brigadier served in the Indian Armed Forces for thirty years. He was awarded the prestigious Visisth Seva Medal (VSM). He set up IVF clinics at Army Hospitals including the prestigious Army Hospital (Research & Referral). Dr. (Brig) R K Sharma (VSM) is also an examiner for Post Doctoral Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine. The doctor has also worked at Primus Hospital, Chanakyapuri New Delhi.

He has delivered lectures & presentations on various fields of IVF & ART. He has also been instrumental in designing protocols in the field of IVF, which are acknowledged and used by doctors across the country.
