About Dr. A. Joseph Edwards III

Dr. A. Joseph Edwards III is a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology. He graduated from the Savannah Country Day School in 1982. He graduated with honours from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. Dr. Edwards earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1990.

Dr. Edwards completed a residency in obstetrics and gynaecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in 1995. He specializes in Obstetrics Care, Gynecology Problems, Infertility Treatments, and Pelvic pain. Dr. Joseph completed a general surgery internship at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Dr. Joseph is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. He has been a Physician at OB/GYN Specialists of Savannah since 1995. Dr. Edwards has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor Since 2017.
