Dr. Amitha Indersen

Dr. Amitha Indersen holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from OK.A.P.V. Government Medical College in Tamil Nadu. She completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Madras Medical College. Additionally, she completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Fetal Medicine from Mediscan in Chennai.

Currently working as the Head fetal Medicine consultant at Apollo Cradle & Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. She also works in Apollo Hospitals, providing treatment and care to her patients. Dr. Indersen previously worked as a consultant at Rainbow Hospitals.

Dr. Amitha Indersen has received numerous honors and awards throughout her career. This includes the OGSSI Gold Medal for Best Research Paper in 2009 for her work on diabetes in pregnancy. In addition to her research accomplishments, Dr. Indersen has also presented her work at numerous national and international conferences, further solidifying her reputation as a leading expert in the field.

Dr. Amitha Indersen is a member of several prominent medical organizations, including the Society of Fetal Medicine. Additionally, she is involved with several other professional societies, such as the Indian Academy of Medical Genetics and the Indian Society of Perinatology and Reproductive Biology. Dr. Indersen also belongs to the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and the International society of ultrasound on obstetrics and gynecology.
