Dr. Bhumika Bansal

Dr. Bhumika Bansal recieved her MBBS degree from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow in 2009. Then, she completed an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from King Georges Medical College. In 2013, she completed a Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Maternal and Foetal Medicine from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. She also holds certifications in contraception, gestational diabetes and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. She has undertaken additional training in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries as well.

Dr. Bansal was formerly the Senior Resident in Maternal & Foetal Medicine at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences. Later, she held the same role at King George's Medical University for Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Currently, she is practicing as a consultant at Apollomedics Super Specialty Hospitals.

Dr. Bhumika Bansal has achieved multiple accolades during her career, including gold medals in both MBBS and Obstetrics & Gynaecology at KGMU. She also published a comparative study of Pre-invasive and invasive lesions of cervix in HIV positive and negative women which featured in the Clin Cancer Investigation Journal (2015). In 2013, she was recognized for outcomes in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy in the North Indian population which was published by International Journal of Women’s Health. Furthermore, she authored case reports on torsion of preterm gravid uterus that got included in International Journal of Case Reports and Images in 2013. Additionally, an abstract of Dr. Bansal’s comparative study of Preinvasive and Invasive lesions of the cervix in HIV positive and negative women was featured in International Journal of Gynaecologic Cancer.

Dr. Bhumika Bansal is an active member of Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (F.O.G.S.I.) and Society of Fetal Medicine (S.F.M.).
