Dr. Botros Rizk

Dr. Rizk served as an Intern in Medicine and Surgery at Cairo University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt from 1982 to 1983. He was a Consultant at Cairo University and Sahel Teaching Hospitals Cairo, Egypt from 1983 to 1985, All Saints Hospital University of London Chatham, Kent from 1985 to 1986, and Farnborough Hospital University of London Orpington, Kent from 1986 to 1988. He was a Clinical Lecturer and Senior Registrar at Cambridge University at the University of Cambridge Clinical School Cambridge, Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, England from 1990 to 1993, a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1993 to 1996, an Assistant Professor and Director from 1996 to 1997, an Associate Professor and Head from 1997 to 2000 and Tenured Professor and Head from 2000 to 2020 at University of South Alabama. He was a Co-Director of the Women’s Health Center at Knollwood Park Hospital, University of South Alabama from 2001 to 2002, Program Director and Medical Director, of the USA IVF, and ART Program at the University of South Alabama from 1996 to 2020, and Distinguished Adjunct Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah from 2015 to 2016.

Dr. Botros is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Washington, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (formerly AFS), Birmingham, the American College of Surgeons, Chicago, the American Association of Bioanalysts, St. Loius, the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and American Association of University Professors. He is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, Brussels, the President of Middle East Fertility Society Chapter in the American Society for Reproductive, and the Medicine Beirut, Lebanon
