About Dr. Caleb Kallen

Dr. Caleb Kallenr is a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Infertility Specialist at Shady Grove Fertility Philadelphia. He earned an MD and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and a FACOG degree. He provides treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Egg Freezing, and Ovulation Induction.

Dr. Kallen served as a Resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and an Assistant Professor at Emory University. He was also an Associate Professor and a Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Reproductive Biologists Professional Group, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society for Reproductive Investigation, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.

Dr. Caleb was a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor (2022-2023), Main Line Today magazine Top Doctors in 2022-2023. He received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive Immunology Special Interest Group’s Prize Paper Award and the "Evidence that neither THP1 Monocytes nor THP1 Macrophages have functional Estrogen Receptor-a.” He received the “Golden Apple” award for resident education, at Emory University and was a Mentor for the project awarded first prize, Emory University Annual Fellowship Research Award in 2010. He received the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) and the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University “APGO Excellence in Teaching Award" and the Emory University School of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award from Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He also received the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) National Faculty Award in recognition of outstanding contributions.
