Dr. Daniel Shapiro has been a Fertility Specialist and Medical director at Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA) in Atlanta since 1995. He graduated Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Dr. Shapiro later earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut in 1995.
Dr. Shapiro completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland. He specializes in treatments including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Egg Freezing, Preimplantation Genetic Testing, and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss. Dr. Daniel has been a clinical manager of the frozen egg bank for egg donation since 2007.
Dr. Daniel is board-certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology. He is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Dr. Shapiro was the first to become interested in reproductive medicine by doing a research project with RBA in 1987.
