About Dr. Daphne Mercer

Dr. Daphne Mercer is a skilled and compassionate obstetrician and gynecologist practicing at The Woman's Health Pavilion. With her fluency in both English and Haitian Creole, she is able to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Dr. Mercer offers a wide range of treatments to her patients. She specializes in gynecologic surgery, obstetrics problems, contraception and prevention of cervical cancer.

Dr. Mercer graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor's degree in Biology and Women's and Gender Studies. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Mercer completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. Her outstanding performance during her residency was recognized with the Ryan Program award, which she received as chief resident.

Dr. Mercer holds her membership from the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Gold Humanism Honor Society. Furthermore, Dr. Mercer is certified in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support, ensuring her readiness to handle emergency situations.
