Dr. David Keefe is an Infertility Specialist and Reproductive Endocrinologist in New York. He earned an MD in 1980 from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a fellowship in 1985 from Northwestern University in neuro-endocrinology. He also completed a fellowship in 1991 and in 1992 from Yale University School of Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. David was an award-winning teacher and researcher. He published more than 150 papers and abstracts. He served as a reviewer for such publications as the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the New England Journal of Medicine and presented to peers both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the American Society for the Advancement of Science, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, and the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. As director of the Division of Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at Brown University he and his research group studied how oocytes reprogram the genome during early development and therapeutic cloning and how aging affects the process. This work received wide recognition (including the General Program Prize of the ASRM).
