About Dr. Dawn Kelk

Dr. Dawn Kelk has been a board-certified Chief Scientific Officer at Mate Fertility since 2022 and a Scientific & Laboratory Director at Extend Fertility since 2020. She is also an Offsite IVF Laboratory Director at Sanford Health. She completed a BSc in Molecular Biology in 1989 and an MSc in Biological Science from the University of Guelph. She also completed a PhD in Biology and Embryology from the University of Guelph in 1997.

Dr. Kelk provides services including In-vitro fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination, Egg Freezing, and Fertility preservation. She served as an IVF Laboratory Director at IVF Canada from 1995 to 1999, and as an Assistant Professor & Director of IVF & Andrology Laboratories at the University of Colorado from 1999 to 2006. He was also a Laboratory Director at Genesis Fertility Centre from 2004 to 2009, and an Embryology Director at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut from 2009 to 2013.

Dr. Dawn was an IVF Lab Director & Associate Research Scientist at Yale University from 2014 to 2020, and an Offsite Laboratory Director at Northeastern Reproductive Medicine from 2021 to 2022. is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Reproductive Biologists and Technologists (SRBT), and the American Board of Bioanalysts (ABB).
