About Dr. Ertug Kovanci

Dr. Ertug Kovanci has been a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Infertility Specialist at HART Fertility since 2019. He earned an MD from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1992, and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from Yale University and Baylor College of Medicine in 2006. He provides a wide range of treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Fertility preservation, and Myomectomy.

Dr. Kovanci served as an Intern at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Professor in 2003. He received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s “Star Award” for several years in a row, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation’s “President’s Presenter Award”, and the Fulbright and Jaworski LLP's “Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching”. He has also been selected as a “top doctor” by Houstonia Magazine. He has been a co-investigator for several National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored research projects.
