About Dr. Gayane Ambartsumyan

Dr. Gayane Ambartsumyan is board-certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, and Infertility. She earned an MD from David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA in 2001 and a PhD in Embryonic Stem Cells from UCLA. She also completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from UCLA. She provides a wide range of treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and Fertility Testing.

Dr. Ambartsumyan served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA and a Physician at Women's Healthcare Institute from 2005 to 2006. She has been a Fertility Physician at Reproductive Partners Medical Group, Inc. since July 2013. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Ob/Gyn at UCLA.

Dr. Gayane was awarded a prestigious clinical investigator grant two years in a row from California’s Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). She has written numerous scientific research articles and book chapters in leading medical journals and textbooks. She speaks English, Armenian, and Spanish. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the International Society of Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), and the Society of Gynecologic Investigators (SGI).
