Dr. Ginny Ryan is a board-certified Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist at Reproductive Care at UW Medical Center. She was also a Professor at the University of Washington Medical Center and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed a BS in Biology, from Cornell University in 1995 and an MD from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1999. She also completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in 2006 and an MA in Bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009.
Dr. Ryan provides treatments including In vitro fertilization, Reproductive surgery, Adolescent Gynecology, and LGBTQ Care. She completed a Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in 2003. She practiced at Roosevelt Clinic, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington Medical Center, and VA Puget Sound. Dr. Ginny is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent.
Dr. Ginny was a Nominee for the Clinician of the Year Award, and the University of Iowa Physicians (UIP) Clinical Recognition Award in 2017 and 2019. She received the ACOG/AAOGF Travel Award for the AGOS Annual Meeting in 2016, a Star Award for presenting at least 9 of the previous 10 ASRM annual meetings in 2015, and a Carol Weisman and Gary Chase Gender-Based Research Award at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting in 2015. Dr. Ryan also received the Corridor Business Journal Women of Influence Award in 2014 and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine nominee for the 2010 National Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism Award.
