About Dr. Heather Burks

Dr. Heather Burks is a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Infertility Specialist. She has been an Assistant Professor, at the Department of OB/GYN, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at OU Physicians Reproductive Medicine since 2015. She completed an MD from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2008 and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 2015.

Dr. Burks also completed a Research Fellowship in Menopause at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015 and a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in 2012. She provides services including In-vitro fertilization, Fertility preservation, Uterine anomalies, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. She received the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Alumni Association Grant Recipient from the University of Oklahoma in 2018 and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Scholarship Recipient in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Dr. Heather received the Faculty Teaching Award from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 and 2018, and the Excellence In-Training Award for research presentation from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society in 2015. He also received the NAMS/Teva Women's Health Medical Residents Excellence Award in 2010. Dr. Burks is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, and the American Medical Association
