Dr. James A. Gohar

Dr. Gohar completed an MD from the Cairo University School of Medicine in 2003. He provides services including Prenatal Care, Natural Childbirth, Family Planning, and Fibroids. He completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia and an Internship at the School of Medicine, University of Cairo in 2004. He was a Managing Partner at Allied Distribution from 2004 to 2006 and House officer at assabo International Hospital from 2005 to 2007.

Dr. James was a Business Development Manager at Forest Hills Medical Services from 2007 to 2009, a physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Nassau Health Care Corporation from 2009 to 2010, and Medical College of Georgia from 2010 to 2013. He served as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Urban Health Plan INC. from 2013 to 2015 and an Attending Physician at NewYork Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital from 2017 to 2021. She also served as a Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell Medicine from 2017 to 2021.

Dr. Gohar is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York the Augusta Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, the Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecological Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
