Dr. Kara Goldman

Dr. Goldman served as an Intern in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2009 and a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine from 2009 to 2012. She has been a Medical Director at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine since 2019 and an Assistant Professor in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the New York University Langone Medical Center since 2015. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Kara received the Excellence in Resident Mentorship Award from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2023, the Scientific Program Prize Paper Award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2021, and the Outstanding Faculty Educator Award from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2020. She received the Gordon Watkins Douglas Award from New York University in 2018, the Scientific Program Prize Paper Award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2016, and the Fertility Preservation Prize Paper Award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2016. She also received the Corporate Member Council In-Training Travel Award from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in 2013 and the Outstanding Educator Award from the Northwestern University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2011.

Dr. Goldman received the Best New Investigator Award from the Society for Reproductive Investigation in 2011, the Outstanding Educator Award from the Northwestern University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010, and the Resident Research Award from the St. Louis Gynecological Society Annual Research Symposium in 2009. She received the Wade Family Fund Scholarship from the Duke University Marine Laboratory in 2003, and the Harvey W. Smith Undergraduate Fellowship in Biological Sciences Award from Duke University in 2002.

Dr. Kara has been the Co-chair of, the Oncofertility Consortium Healthcare Management Committee since 2021, Vice Chair of ARSM Fertility Preservation Special Interest Group since 2020, and a Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Task Force on Oocyte Cryopreservation since 2019. She has been the Editorial Board Member of Fertility and Sterility since 2021, the Associate Editor of the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics since 2018, and the Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics since 2017.
