About Dr. Karl Hansen
Dr. Karl Hansen is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at OU Physicians Reproductive Medicine. He completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995 and an MD from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City in 1997. He also earned a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Washington in 2004 and a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in 2001.
Dr. Hansen provides services including In-vitro fertilization, Reproductive surgery, Ovarian reserve testing, and Polycystic ovarian syndrome. He has received the Best Doctors in America Award since 2008, the Medical Student Faculty Teaching Award from the University of Oklahoma since 2004, and the Castle Connolly Top Doctors since 2015. Dr. Karl was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha in 1995. He also received the OU Medicine Award for Outstanding Patient Service in 2011, 2012, and 2013, and the CREOG Award.
Dr. Karl also received the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2005.
