Dr. Katherine McKnight has been a Board-Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists at CCRM Fertility of Houston since 2012. She earned a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Washington in 2000, and an MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2005. She also completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012, and a FACOG degree.
Dr. McKnight provides treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and Preimplantation Genetic Testing. She served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2005 to 2009. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Katherine joined Houston IVF and was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Super Docs in Texas Monthly Magazine in 2012, an honor repeated in 2013 and 2014. She has also been designated as a 2019 “Top Doctor” by Houstonia and a 2021-2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctor. She received the APGO Medical Education Foundation Scholars Award, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award, and the ACOG Future Leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award. She also received the Paul C. Weinberg Award for Excellence in Women’s Health. She served on the national genetics committee for the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has held several leadership positions in ACOG at the district and state levels.
