Dr. Kristina A. Butler

Dr. Butler provides a wide range of treatments including Gynecological surgery, Endometriosis, Ovarian cyst, and Pelvic organ prolapse. She earned a Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in 2011 and Gynecologic Oncology in 2014 at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Butler completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009 where she received the Resident Teacher Of The Year Award.

Dr. Kristina received the Outstanding Student Leadership Award at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000 and the Class Of 2005 Outstanding Obstetrics & Gynecology Student Award from the Texas Tech University HSC School of Medicine in 2005. She also received the Outstanding Student Teaching Award in 2006 and the Excellence In CREOG Award in 2007 from the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Butler was a Mayo Foundation Scholar in 2011 and Arizona Top Doctor in 2021 in Gynecology by Phoenix Magazine. She was a finalist in the Clinical Science Category and Poster Category Winner at the Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination and Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Kristina received the Certificate of Merit for Abstract at the Radiologic Society of North America in 2018. She is a Fellowship Director of Medical and Surgical Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.

Dr. Kristina is a member of the publications Committee of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the Surgical Quality Subcommittee, the Surgical and Procedural Committee, and the Clinical Practice Committee. She is a Supporter, Facilitator, and Speaker at the Arizona Mayo Clinic CARES and Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, Mayo Clinic Arizona Committees.
