About Dr. Laurel Stadtmauer
Dr. Laurel Stadtmauer a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Infertility Specialist, and Director of Third Party Reproduction at The IVF Center. She completed an MD and PhD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Columbia Presbyterian. She provides services including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Egg Donation, Egg Freezing, and Genetic Testing.
Dr. Stadtmauer served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and an Internship in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital, NYU, New York. She was a Medical Director, head of the REI Division and the Fellowship Program, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EMVS) of the Jones Institute. She was one of the founding faculty members of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility module for the Distance EVMS Masters in Embryology and Reproductive Biology Program. She received funding for more than 20 studies in the field of human reproduction. She has published more than 100 original manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters.
Dr. Laurel is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. She is currently an associate editor for the Human Reproduction Journal. She has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings.
