About Dr. Lia Bernardi
Dr. Lia Bernardi is a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, and Infertility Specialist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned an MD from Rush Medical College in 2008 and a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Chicago Hospitals in 2012. She later completed a Fellowship in Recurrent Pregnancy Loss from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013 and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility from Northwestern University in 2016. She also completed an MS from Northwestern University in 2016 and a FACOG degree.
Dr. Bernardi provides various treatments, including In Vitro Fertilization, Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection, Intrauterine insemination (IUI), and Ovulation Induction. She was a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Chicago from 2008 to 2012. She has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern Medicine since 2016 and a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at Northwestern Fertility and Reproductive Medicine. She is a member of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Lia received the Fletcher Award for Excellence in Research Mentorship from Northwestern University in 2021. She has developed a clinical Recurrent Pregnancy Loss program within Northwestern’s Fertility and Reproductive Medicine division. She has been a Member of the Medical Advisory Board for Kevin J.
