Dr. Mark Johnson is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and infertility Specialist Physician at New Direction Fertility Centers. He earned an MD from the Tulane University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Medical College of Georgia in 1989. He also completed an NIH Clinical Fellowship in Medical Genetics in 1993. He provides a wide range of treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Egg Freezing, and Preimplantation Genetic Testing.
Dr. Johnson served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1978 to 1982 and Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Air Force from 1982 to 1987. He was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1996 and Assistant Professor and Chief of the Division at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Harbor Medical Center from 1996 to 1998.
Dr. Mark was also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine on the faculty of the Ob-Gyn Residency at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix from 2003 to 2014. He was a President from 2008 to 2011 and vice chair from 2005 to 2007 of the Arizona Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). He was a Past President of the Phoenix OB-GYN Society from 2004 to 2005.
