About Dr. Matrika Johnson

Dr. Matrika Johnson is a board-certified Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Reproductive Endocrinologist, Infertility Specialist, Founder and Medical Director of Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas. She completed a BA in 2002 from Davidson College and an MD from Wright State University in 2006. She earned a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Research in 2011 from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Magee Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2015.

Dr. Johnson provides treatments including In vitro fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and Fertility Preservation. She served as a Resident Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2010 and a Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Indian Health Service from 2011 to 2012. She was also a Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Physician at REACH - Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte from 2015 to 2020.

Dr. Matrika Received the Janet C. Thompson Memorial Scholarship Award for her academic achievements at Wright State University. She has appeared in Charlotte magazine’s list of the Top Doctors in Charlotte for the specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility since 2020. She honored a Sigma Gamma Rho Beta Omicron Sigma in 2022. She was also a Centennial Gala Honoree and the QCity Metro recognized her on their Great 28 list in 2023.
