Dr. Narmada Katakam is an MBBS from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh. In 2004, she completed MD im Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the same university. She is trained in Advanced Laparoscopy from Hyderabad Institute of Laparo-Endoscopic Surgery, India. Dr. Narmada Katakam passed Diploma in Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare in 2008. She also passed Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from University of Dundee, UK. Additionally, she also holds a Fellowship (FRCOG) from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, U.K.

Dr. Katakam worked as Consultant in Sri Venkateshwara M/S Hospital, Karmanghat till 2003. As a Junior Doctor, She worked in Rochdale Infirmary, UK. She then worked as Consultant in Royal Bolton Hospital, UK from 2006 to 2015. She also worked as Fertility Specialist & Gynaecologist in Centre for Reproductive Health, UK till 2017. She is currently working as Founder, Medical Director, Fertility Specialist & Consultant Gynaecologist in Genesis Fertility & Laparoscopy Centre, Hyderabad, India since 2017.
