Dr. Nirja Chawla

Dr Nirja Chawla is a Chandigarh based gynecologist and obstetrician. She has been working since 1980. She specializes in gynecological treatments. She provides different services including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, infertility evaluation, minimal access treatments, fibroids treatment, uro-gynecological treatments and provides gynecology consultation. Dr Nirja Chawla completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi in 1980. She also did her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi passing out in 1984. She completed her diploma in gynecological endoscopic surgery from Staten Island University Hospital, New York in 1997. She has memberships of various well known federations such as IMA, IMS, FOGSI, FIGO, IAGE, IMAGES and ISAR etc. She has worked at various reputed hospitals such as Fortis Hospital, Paras Bliss Hospital and PGIMER. Currently Dr Nirja Chawla is a consultant at Dr Nirja Chawla Gynecology Endoscopy Centre in Sector 44, Chandigarh. She has participated in and organized several training workshops on endoscopic surgery, genetics, infertility, ultrasound, obstetrics and gynecological emergencies. She makes her patients comfortable to discuss all aspects of the disease thereby leading to a thorough diagnosis.
