Dr. Parimalam Ramanathan

Continuing her pursuit of knowledge and excellence, Dr. Parimalam Ramanathan achieved the esteemed Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London in 2000. She also completed a Certification in CCT-Nephrology from the World Laparoscopic Association in 2006. Her dedication to further specialization led her to attain a Fellowship in Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, in 2017.

Throughout her career, Dr. Parimalam Ramanathan has gained extensive experience and expertise through her work in various reputable hospitals and institutions. She has held positions at esteemed medical institutions including North Middlesex Hospital, Liverpool Women's Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, Royal London and Barts NHS Trust, and Kingston University Hospital in the UK. Her roles have ranged from Senior SHO to Specialist Registrar and Consultant with specific interests in early pregnancy, gynecological ultrasound, and IVF treatment.

Presently, Dr. Parimalam Ramanathan serves as a Consultant IVF Specialist at the London Harley Street Women and Fertility Centre and Apollo Speciality Hospitals OMR. She is proficient in conducting In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Caesarean Section (C Section), Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal), Essure System, D&C (Dilation and Curettage), Natural Cycle IVF, Egg Donor, Pap Smear, Dysmenorrhea Treatment, Diseases in Pregnancy, Pre-Marital Counselling, Endoscopy, Pre and Post Delivery Care, and various other assisted reproductive techniques. Additionally, she specializes in high-risk pregnancy care, gynecological surgeries including laparoscopy, and the management of menopause-related issues.

Dr. Ramanathan's exceptional dedication and contributions to the field have been recognized through numerous awards and achievements. She has been the recipient of the National Scholarship awarded by the Government of Tamilnadu for her outstanding academic performance. She has also received the John H Isaac's First Prize Award from the Society of Medical Learning and Research. In recognition of her expertise in menopause, she was honored with the Menopause Travel Award by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, in 2004.

Dr. Parimalam Ramanathan maintains active memberships in several professional organizations, including the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK, the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in London, the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
