Dr. Poonam Agarwal

Dr. Agarwal has previously served as a Senior Consultant at both Deen Dayal Upadhyay and at Sri Balaji Action Hospital. She has had an excellent educational journey, completing her MBBS from the Lady Hardinge Medical College, and a DGO from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital. She further pursued a DNB and a fellowship and diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and International Center for Endoscopic Surgery respectively. She has also completed her FICOG from Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr. Agarwal’s specialisations include Laparoscopic Surgery, Laparoscopy Hysterectomy, Premarital Counseling, Pre and Post Delivery Care, Family Planning, In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Female Infertility Treatment, menopause advice, Menopause Clinic, Female Sexual Problems, Caesarean Section (C Section), Abortion / Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) among many others.

Dr Agarwal has been the proud recipient of several accolades including the Best Performance Delivering Family Planning Services by DGHS - 2016, and Dr SN Mukherjee Rotating Trophy' for best clinical presentations. She also received af ellowship of Indian College of Obs and Gynae, and a prize for the 'Best Family Planning Services' under NRHM, Govt of India.

Dr. Agarwal is a member of several esteemed organizations such as Delhi Medical Council, Delhi Gynaecological Endoscopic Society (DGES), Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD) and the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).
