Dr. Sandeep Karunakaran

Dr. Karunakaran's educational journey reflects his commitment to continuous learning and growth. He completed his MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College, in 1994, and later pursued MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the same institution. In addition to his medical qualifications, he holds postgraduate diplomas in Hospital Management and Medical Law & Ethics from prestigious institutions like the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, and NLSIU (National Law School of India University), respectively. Furthermore, Dr. Karunakaran is a PhD scholar in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad.

Throughout his career, Dr. Karunakaran has held prominent positions in various renowned hospitals and fertility centers across the country. He served as the HOD for the ART Centre and Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at esteemed institutions like Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Naval Hospital Asvini, and Command Hospital (Air Force).

Dr. Karunakaran's dedication and exceptional work in the field have earned him the prestigious Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card in recognition of his exemplary contributions to Infertility treatment. Additionally, he is an esteemed member of the National Advisory Board of the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences (JHRS).
