About Dr. Sharon Thompson
Dr. Sharon Thompson is a practicing gynecologist and manager of Central Phoenix Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned a BA in Biology from Vassar College and an MPH in woman and child health from the University of California at Berkeley. She also completed an MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Thompson completed her postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Harvard University
Dr. Thompson provides multiple services including Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Pap Smears, Pelvic pain, and Menopause. She serves as Medical Director for the Arizona Community Health Partnership and volunteers on the Women’s Commission for the City of Phoenix. Dr. Sharon completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital. She is a member of the Women Presidents Organization.
Dr. Sharon serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine and an adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University and the Arizona State University College of Nursing and Innovation.
