About Dr. Sinem Karipcin

Dr. Sinem Karipcin is board-certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She earned an MD and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Karipcin served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas at Galveston. She is an Assistant Professor, Director, Infertility Specialist, and Reproductive Endocrinologist at Columbia Doctors. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Investigation, the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS), and the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society. 8. Dr. Karipcin is an expert in decreasing the risk of genetically heritable diseases and has been an invited speaker in national and international meetings to speak about her area of expertise.

9. She is the Director of the Pre-Pregnancy Genetics Program. She leads a multidisciplinary team consisting of world leaders in Genetics to increase the awareness and accessibility of Preimplantation Genetic Testing to alleviate the suffering from severe genetic diseases.
