About Dr. Soumia Brakta

Dr. Soumia Brakta is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist affiliated with Wellstar and Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Associates. She serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University. She also serves as the Director of OBGYN Student Education at Augusta University. Dr. Brakta provides services including Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Birth Control, Menopausal Management, and Recurrent Miscarriage.

Dr. Brakta earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Loyola University New Orleans in 2006 and a medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2010.
