Dr. Sukhamoy Barik

Dr. Sukhamoy Barik is an experienced Gynecologist and Obstetrician with over 16 years of experience in the field. His practice includes an array of specialized treatments such as Maternal Care/Checkup, Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD), Laparoscopic Surgery (Obs & Gyn), and Infertility evaluation and treatment.

He completed his MBBS from Calcutta University in 2007, followed by an MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from West Bengal University of Health Sciences in 2012. He further honed his skills by doing certifications in Abdominal Pelvic, Gynecological, and Obstetric Ultrasonography from the Health Care Diagnostic Center in 2013. Additionally, he completed fellowships in Advanced Gynae Laparoscopic & Robotic Onco Surgery in 2015 and Minimal Access Surgery in 2016 from esteemed institutions in Kolkata.

Dr. Sukhamoy Barik began his professional journey in 2007 as a Junior resident at SSKM Hospital, where he served until 2009. Following this, he gained experience at various hospitals, such as Sishu Mangal Hospital and Binayak HealthWorld. Thereafter, he did a Gynae fellowship at Galaxy Hospital, Pune. Currently, Barik holds the position of Consultant at Charnock Hospital, located near Teghoria, Kolkata.

He secured the 2nd position in the ISOPARB paper presentation in 2012 and delivered a significant paper presentation on the integration of various minimal access modalities with conventional multiport laparoscopic radical hysterectomy steps in 2015. He is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
