Dr. Teresa Erb has been a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine since 2016. She completed a BS from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 and an MD in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She also earned a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and a FACOG degree. She provides services including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Inseminations, Minimal Stimulation IVF, and Fertility Preservation.
Dr. Erb served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2002 to 2006 and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics/ Gynecology Subspecialties Division from 2006 to 2007 at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. She was also a Physician - Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at Reproductive Health Specialists from 2010 to 2016. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Dr. Teresa was co-chair of the Fertility Preservation Options in Oncology Patients Committee from 2007 to 2010. She also served on the Ethics Committee for women and couples undergoing reproductive care from 2007 to 2010. She has also been a guest speaker at UPMC Shadyside Hospital Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee-Women’s Hospital, and the 3rd annual Hereditary Cancer Conference.

1. During the time in fellowship, Dr. Erb served as co-chair of the Fertility Preservation Options in Oncology Patients Committee (2007-2010) where her contributions included writing two institutional review board-approved protocols for ovarian and testicular cryopreservation in cancer patients (including men, women, and children)and in patients who are about to undergo bone marrow transplantation.
2. She also served on the Ethics Committee for women and couples undergoing reproductive care (2007-2010).
3. Dr. Erb has been a contributing author in medical textbooks, has presented her research at numerous national and international meetings, and has published her research in several peer-reviewed journals.
4. She has also been a guest speaker at UPMC Shadyside Hospital Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee-Women’s Hospital, and at the 3rd annual Hereditary Cancer Conference.
