About Dr. Teresa Tam

Dr. Teresa Tam is board-certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a fully licensed physician and surgeon by the State of Illinois. She has been an Ob/Gyne Physician & Surgeon at All For Women Healthcare since 2013 and an Assistant Professor at Rush University Medical Center since 2013. Dr. Teresa is also a Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Presence Saint Francis Hospital.

Dr. Tam completed a BS in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago in 1989 and an MD from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science in 1994. She earned a UroGYN/ Minimally Invasive GYN Surgery fellowship at Penn State College of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Teresa provides services including Pap smear, Colposcopy, Contraception, and GynecologICAL Services.

Dr. Teresa completed a Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago in 1998. She was a Fellow and attending physician at Penn State Hershey Medical Center from 2012 to 2013 and an Assistant Professor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from 2000 to 2018. Dr. Tam received the Master Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery from the Surgical Review Corporation in 2022. She has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor Since 2023.

Dr. Teresa received the National Faculty Award in 2012 and 2015 from the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received the Service Excellence Award in 2013 from the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Attending of the Year 2011 to 2012 by Saint Joseph Hospital, Chicago. Dr. Tam is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Tam is a member of the Chicago Gynecological Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
