About Dr. Timothy Hickman

Dr. Timothy Hickman is the Medical Director and Co-Founder of CCRM Fertility of Houston. He is a Board-Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned an MD from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1990 and a Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1997. He also completed a FACOG degree. He provides treatments including In Vitro Fertilization, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Egg Freezing, and Preimplantation Genetic Testing.

Dr. Hickman served as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1994 and the Program Director and Medical Director of the Air Force’s in vitro fertilization program at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in conjunction with Houston Methodist Hospital and Texas A&M School of Medicine. He serves as an Oral Board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Timothy has been named a “Top Doctor in Reproductive Endocrinology” by U.S. News and the World Report, a “Top Doctor” and “Top Doctor for Women” by H-Texas Magazine. He was the Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2011 to 2024, and Texas Super Doc for 19 years running by Texas Monthly Magazine. He led the team that helped his patient become the first in Texas to achieve a pregnancy resulting in live birth using cryopreserved eggs at CCRM Houston. He is the President-Elect of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and the former Webmaster and Registry Committee Chair of the SART. He is also the former American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Delegate to the American Medical Association-Resident Fellow Section and former ASRM delegate to the AMA Young Physician Section.
