Dr. Vishvanath C. Karande

Dr. Karande served as an Intern from 1980 to 1981, House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynecology from 1981 to 1982, and Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynecology from 1982 to 1984 at King Edward Memorial Hospital, University of Bombay. He was a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of New York and The Children's Hospital of Buffalo from 1984 to 1988 and a Director of the Division of Gynecology at the Center for Human Reproduction from 1992 to 1999. He was also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1993 to 1999.

Dr. Vishvanath has been involved in thousands of IVF cycles with pregnancy rates comparable to the best programs nationwide. He received the First Prize presentation in the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, at the 46th Annual Meeting of The American Fertility Society, Washington in October 1990. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, the Chicago Area Reproductive Endocrinologists, and the Imaging in Reproductive Medicine Special Interest Group American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
