Dr. Yashodhara Mhatre

Dr. Yashodhara Mhatre is a Mumbai-based Fertility Specialist. She pursued her MBBS in 1993 and completed her DGO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1995, followed by an MD in 1996 from GS Medical College, Mumbai. She later completed fellowships in Reproductive Medicine from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore in 1999, and IVF and Andrology from Antalya IVF Center in Turkey in 2006. She also earned a fellowship and training in IVF from Homerton IVF Centre in the UK in 2019.

Dr, Mhatre served an Observership at Adelaide IVF, Australia in 1999. She is currently serving as the Fertility Director at Egg Freezing India, Director and Fertility Physician at Niche Health Options Pvt Ltd, Consultant Fertility Physician at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, and Medical Director and Chief Fertility Specialist at Zoi Fertility. She is the founder of the Surrogacy India Clinic. Her wide array of treatments includes addressing PCOS, multiple miscarriages, fertility preservation, premature ovarian failure, and male infertility issues.

Dr. Yashodhara performed more than 2000+ IUI, 4000+ IVF/ICSI cycles, and 2000+ surrogacy cycles. She was Fertility Assistance in 2010. She wrote a Medical Journal on Sperm morphology and the outcome of IUI in Singapore in 1999, a Chapter on Ethics and Fertility in 2006, and a Chapter on the Treatment of Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in 2007. She did her First Transnational Surrogacy for Heart Lung Transplant in 2013. She is a member of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), the European Society for Human Reproduction (ESHRE), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the PCOS Society, India, the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction, the Mumbai Obstetric and Gynaecology Society (MOGS), and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
