About Dr. Zsolt Peter Nagy
Dr. Zsolt Peter Nagy has been the Scientific and Laboratory Director at Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA) in Atlanta since August 2002. He graduated summa cum laude from Semmelweis Medical University of Budapest in 1986. Dr. Nagy earned a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in 1991 and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science in 1998, both from the Free University of Brussels (VUB). He also obtained a Specialist degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997.
Dr. Nagy obtained a degree in Hospital medicine management at the VUB in 1993 and a High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) from the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) in 2003. He provides treatments including Assisted reproduction procedures, Oocyte cryopreservation, Intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and In-vitro fertilization.
Dr. Zsolt began his career in assisted reproduction at the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Brussels University, in 1989, where he was part of the team that developed intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). He was Scientific Director in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and at the European Hospital in Rome, Italy from 1997 to 2001. Dr. Nagy has organized and/or chaired over 100 congresses, symposia, and workshops since 1991.
Dr. Nagy is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Dr. Zsolt has authored or co-authored over 200 articles published in peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals, and books. He led to the establishment of the first highly efficient donor egg cryo-bank in the United States.
